The Indianola softball season came to an end Tuesday evening in the regional final against WDM Valley, but despite falling just a game short of the state tournament it will be a season to remember with all of the hardships that came with it. Head Coach Stacy Evans tells KNIA Sports she was proud of how her team overcame all of the obstacles.

“It’s something to overcome, like a bad at-bat. You just have to flush it, and you have to find the good. Every night that we were able to go out on the field was a win, and I applaud the players and the other teams that were able to make it this far.”

The Indians graduated three seniors from this year’s team.
