The Knoxville School Board will hold a work session Monday. The purpose is to discuss the district’s Return-to-Learn options. Knoxville Schools’ Superintendent Cassi Pearson says that many factors will be considered.
“We know we are going to have to be very flexible this year. It is dependent on several things, one of them being the Marion County caseload of COVID-19 positive cases, and how our community is reacting to the virus. If virus cases are going up, the school really needs to take that into consideration and make sure we have the safety precautions in place.”
At a work session, no formal action will be taken. The meeting begins Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Knoxville School District Administration Building.
