The number nine sports story for Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas for the 2019/2020 school year was Twin Cedars’ Dallas Clarke’s big night for the Saber Football Squad in a 46-20 win over Seymour/Moulton-Udell. The Sabers did not have a lot of success on the gridiron last fall, but this game stood out due to Clarke’s brilliance. He threw for 155 yards and added six yards rushing to complete his offensive performance. Defensively the Sabers held the Warriors to just ten yards passing and 174 yards on the ground while churning up 388 yards of their own. Clarke also left his presence on the defensive side of the ball picking off one pass and recovering two fumbles and had three tackles. The Sabers would finish the season 1-9.
