The Warren County Board of Supervisors approved the use of the Warren County Administration Building for the Warren County District Court system to use for when jury trials begin. District Court Judge Kevin Parker tells KNIA News the actual trials may take place in the current temporary facility, but it will be jury selection that can bring challenges.

“We have two decent sized courtrooms in the current facility that would be able to accomplish social distancing for the jurors. But when we have jury selection, we can have anywhere between 30-50 jurors to get down to 12. And we should be able to handle 12 jurors with attorneys, witnesses, jurors, and court staff in our courtrooms but jury selection is the biggest problem.”
