The paving of E Iowa Ave is complete and is now open for traffic, marking a significant milestone in the Traffic Signal Project schedule to be completed later this summer. The project includes the synchronization of traffic signals along Highway 65/69 and Highway 92 is expected to be complete by August, which will improve traffic in the area as well as reduce pollution due to cars not idling at red lights. The Traffic Signal Project was approved by the Indianola City Council in 2018, and is partially funded by a grant from the State of Iowa.
