The #7 moment on this year’s countdown for Pleasantville was a Senior Night victory for the football team. Entering the game, the Trojans had lost three games in a row, and had fallen out of playoff contention. However, Woodward Academy visited Pleasantville in Week 9, and the Trojans ended the season on a high note.
Pleasantville stormed out to a commanding lead, with a 19-0 advantage after the first quarter. A last second pass allowed the Trojans to go up 33-0 at the halftime break.
Two more touchdowns put the Trojans up 47-0, and the fourth quarter went by swiftly for a 47-0 Pleasantville victory.
Cale Anthony rushed for 328 yards and four touchdowns and seven tackles to lead the way in his final game in a Trojan uniform.
Pleasantville finished the season with a 5-4 record, and graduated 11 seniors.
