Stop me if you have heard this before, Kyle Larson won a sprint car race. Yes, Kyle Larson, who has been on one of the all time hot streaks in recent memory in sprint car racing took another checkered flag Saturday night, this time with the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All-Star Circuit of Champions at the Knoxville Raceway. Larson took the lead from Gio Scelzi at the eight lap mark and was never challenged, lapped traffic and even a contact lens falling out could not stop Larson. Rico Abreu moved from 13th to second and Scelzi settled for third. In the 360 Lynton Jeffrey has won a lot of times at the Knoxville Raceway, but Saturday was his first career 360 win as he led from start to finish. Tim Shaffer, driving for NASCAR Legend Tony Stewart was stalking Jeffrey, but could not get by was second, while Matt Juhl, who may have been the fastest car was third. There is not much of a break as the next action at the Knoxville Raceway, is the 30th Annual My Place Hotels 360 Nationals this Thursday.
