
The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session today. The council will hold a public hearing on vacating a portion of Attica Road right of way.
The council will consider adopting several new ordinances, including adding a new offense called ‘Sniffing Glue Or Other Chemical Substances.’ They will consider amending provisions pertaining to being under the influence of a controlled substance, will consider amending provisions pertaining to the building code, plumbing and mechanical code, and electrical code. The council will also consider a change order for the Roche Street culvert project.
