A local playground project in Pella will begin construction in 2021.

Mark Wiskus with Wonder Spelen says the all-inclusive park, once completed in 2021, will ensure any child can play safely. The Wonder Spelen will be located at the Kiwanis Park off of North Main Street in Pella.

Wiskus says the main timeline of the project has remained largely unchanged, even with some of the challenges presented by COVID-19 as it related to closures and donations.
