The City of Indianola now has 144 cases of COVID-19 within city limits and an additional 33 not within city limits but within the Indianola Fire District, for a total of 177 cases to affect the area, nearly doubling the total cases in the city in the past month.
According to the Iowa Department of Public Health Warren County has 527 cases, a growth of 81 since the latest update on July 31st, and well over double the amount of 243 cases at the beginning of July. Active cases in Warren County have also increased since the latest update, going from 217 to 283, and increased by nearly 800% since the beginning of July where there were only 36 active cases.
The latest Marion County Situation Report shows nine new cases since the most recent update on July 31st, bringing the total to 176 cases within the county with 25 active cases, which is a drop of five from last week. Marion County has grown by over 100 cases in the past month, however active cases have only risen by 10, with a high of 48 active cases during that time span.
