The Indianola Park Friends held a neighborhood meeting Wednesday afternoon at Buxton Park, presenting a preliminary plan to replace the gazebo at the park. Elodie Opstad with the Indianola Park Friends tells KNIA News the concept involves a larger open space pavilion in the park that would provide natural seating, a larger open space that enhances the photographic views of the beautiful gardens in the park, and be able to accommodate more people. Opstad also said the current plan is only a concept, and they will bring it to the Indianola City Council to see where they will next proceed.
