Austin McCarl brought his best 360 motor to the Knoxville Raceway last night and it paid off as he won night one of the 30th Annual My Place Hotels 360 Nationals. McCarl got by Calvin Landis, who led the first six laps and was never challenged in the win. Kerry Madsen, who set quick time in time trials, ran second and Dominic Scelzi finished third. The points go like this: Madsen is leading with 492, Shane Golobic is second with 486, Tim Shaffer while tied with Golobic lost the tiebreaker for second and is currently third place, fourth McCarl at 475, and Scelzi is fifth 467. Tonight is night two is the other half of the field with drivers like past champions Brian Brown and Terry McCarl and defending Champion James McFadden.
