For the second year in a row, an Australia native has won the 360 Nationals at the Knoxville Raceway. This year it was Kerry Madsen as he took off from his pole starting spot and went largely unchallenged in leading all 25 laps to get the win. The only thing that slowed Madsen was a lap one crash by Matt Juhl which stopped the race before one lap could be completed. Shane Golobic was a distant second and Cory Eliason advanced to third from his 15th starting spot to earn him hard charger. Madsen said in victory lane he has been close to winning a big event all season and it was nice to get it done for his crew and owner Tod Quiring. Friday preliminary winner Lynton Jeffrey and team were awarded the Best Appearing Car Award, and Brock Zearfoss was named Rookie of the Nationals for his fourth place finish.
