A positive case of COVID-19 is confirmed to be in a first-grade classroom at Irving Elementary, according to the Indianola Community School District.

An email released from Principal Derek Morris stated proper safety procedures are being taken; the classroom will be switching to remote learning until August 25th, and more information will be released if a child has come into contact with the positive case.

Irving Elementary runs on the year-round school calendar, while the rest of the Indianola School District will return to school on August 25th.
