The Melcher-Dallas City Council will hold its monthly meeting today. The council will discuss water tower maintenance and repainting. They’ll discuss a liquor license for Casey’s, which includes expanded sales.

The council will discuss and take action as necessary on recodification of city ordinances, will discuss and take action as necessary regarding public works scheduling and organizational structure, including the possible appointment of a part-time position.

The council will consider the approval of granting the mayor the authority to sign a contract with Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization to conduct an environmental review, and will discuss and take action as necessary regarding a ditching project on SW A Street.
