The Pella School Board discussed additional aspects of the district’s Return to Learn Plan at their meeting this week.

The board heard additional reports from administrators as they make final preparations to have students back in the building during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Superintendent Greg Ebeling said at the meeting that a handful of families have chosen to home school, and a few dozen families are choosing a 100% remote option from K-12.

The Pella Community School District will be hosting a live-streamed Town Hall meeting for parents, community members and staff. Individuals that would like to have their questions answered about students returning to the school buildings on August 20 are invited to participate. The Pella Schools Town Hall meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 13 at 7:00 p.m.
