Warren County has seen a growth of 22 cases of the COVID-19 virus since the latest update on August 10th, making it now a growth of 92 cases nearly halfway through the month of August, which is comparable to the month of July which was a growth of 95 cases halfway through the month. Warren County currently has 586 cases, with 396 of those having already recovered.

The most recent Marion County Situation Report shows a growth of 8 cases since their August 10th update with a total of 211 cases that have affected the area, with active cases slightly down with 23 from 26.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has set a 15% positive test rate as a metric that might indicate schools should move to remote learning. Currently Warren County sits at 7% while Marion County is at 6%, with six counties above the threshold including Lucas County and Clarke County to the south.
