The City of Indianola shows some city buildings and facilities are in Phase 2 of 3 of their Reopen Plan, which includes the reopening of some buildings to the public on a limited basis such as the Indianola Public Library and Indianola Activity Center. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News there is no firm timetable for the plan, it will just act as a template for the decision making process.
“It’s our best attempt to bring some sort of structure to this otherwise ambiguous and unknown event. If you look at the matrix of the plan, it is divided up into phases and stages, and as we get more information on the environment around us such as the number of cases, what our public health office is saying, what the experts are saying, what he governor is saying, and what the CDC guidelines are, all of that is taken into account. Once we have the information we can then decide what gets open when.”
The phases of the plan can be viewed below.
