The City of Indianola will begin work on Spruce Street, just north of Highway 92 this week. The work will include repairing two stormwater intakes that have been damaged, and staff is currently investigating the extent of damage to failed sewer pipes underneath the pavement, and the repair of those pipes may delay the project. The work will impede vehicle traffic, and the city asks that all commuters use caution in the area.
