The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday evening, which included a study session regarding the Streetscape Project. The council approved the nominations of Jo Reynolds to the Hometown Pride Committee and Amy Mitchell to serve on the Board of Adjustment, approved a zoning regulation, and approved amendments to the city code regarding the codification project. The council also gave direction on Capital Improvements Planning before adjournment.

The council also had a study session regarding the Streetscape Project, where the council gave direction to staff to pursue the current plan which includes a change in traffic on the square from one-way to two-way, and shared bike lanes on Buxton Street to connect the Jerry Kelley Trail. No official decisions were made at the study session.
