The Knoxville Fire Department, Knoxville Police Department and Alliant Energy responded to the report of a grass fire in the 1000 block of N Depot Street in Knoxville at approximately 1:40 Tuesday afternoon.

Upon arrival, crews discovered the remnants of a camper on fire in the backyard, and flames had spread to a nearby garage. The camper was a total loss, and the garage sustained melted siding.

Fire Chief Cal Wyman tells KNIA/KRLS News that the camper was intentionally set on fire. Crews were on scene for less than an hour, and no one was injured.
