As students return to class, all who travel throughout local communities are reminded to drive safely. Lt. Paul Haase with the Pella Police Department says extra pedestrians will be concentrated near the main campus of Pella and Pella Christian schools, and additional traffic delays will occur during pickup and drop off times. Haase says both vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be increased especially near the Pella Schools main campus area near East 13th and University and Pella Christian Grade School at Liberty Street. He reminds all drivers to use extra patience and to keep their eyes on the road.
