While the Knoxville Football Squad will make its third playoff appearance in its history this season, the Panthers know getting to that first round playoff game in week eight will not be easy. With an improved Fairfield and Keokuk in non-district games, then the Panthers dive right into class 3A District seven play against Pella. Coach Eric Kellar tells KRLS Sports he knows his team will always get matched up with the likes of Pella, Carlisle, and others in the area just because of geography and he is telling his players they are not going to hide from any of the teams. After Pella the Panthers will take on Nevada, Bondurant-Farrar, North Polk, and end the regular season at Carlisle.
