As schools begin classes across the state of Iowa, high school football season will soon be in full swing. Once again this fall, KNIA/KRLS will provide extensive coverage with the award-winning Jeromy Dingeman Concrete Football Friday Night Radio Preview Show and the Precision Pulley and Idler Football Friday Night Radio Scoreboard Show. It all begins tonight with the annual Week Zero Preview Show. KNIA/KRLS Sales Manager Trevor Castle explains what listeners can expect from the programming.

“It includes all of our schools from Marion and Warren Counties. If you’re a fan of any of the teams, you don’t have to wait long to hear something of interest for your local team. That’s a two-hour thing, every Friday night from 4:30 to 6:30 leading up to the pregame of the live six games that we do. And then we come back around 10:00, might actually be a little bit later this year. Games might be a little longer because of some of the coronavirus safety protocols that have been put in place. But about 10:00 is when our scoreboard show hits each and every Friday night. We’ll have highlights from the games we did, we’ll give you scores from all around Marion County, Warren County and south central Iowa, we’ll look ahead to the games we have next week. If you want to know what’s going on high school football-wise in the Marion County and Warren County areas, there’s no other place to be on Friday nights than KNIA/KRLS.”

Tonight’s Week Zero Football Preview Show presented by Jeromy Dingeman Concrete and Precision Pulley and Idler begins at 4:30 p.m. on both KNIA and KRLS.
