While the offense will be new this season for the Twin Cedars Football Squad, the Sabers will have nearly the same group back from last season’s 1-9 campaign. Coach Cam Parker says it starts with returning quarterback Dallas Clark.

Parker:
“We’re going to have Dallas Clark returning and we’re excited to see what he can do at the spot. Kade Dunkin, who performed really well for us at the running back and wide receiver spot.”

Clarke had 963 yards passing and six touchdowns last season. Kade Dunkin was one of his favorite receivers catching 51 passes for 536 yards and five touchdowns. At running back, Dunkin, Brayden DenBurger, and Levi Messamaker return 83% of the rushing attack from last season. Parker adds there are a couple of move-ins that will also have an immediate impact on the season. Tonight the Sabers will have a scrimmage with rival Melcher-Dallas. Parker adds white the two teams will not play in the regular season, they can at least scrimmage with each other.
