The Knoxville Fire Department, Knoxville Township Rural Fire Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Department and a park ranger responded to the scene of a single-vehicle motorcycle accident at Elk Rock State Park Thursday afternoon.

The person operating the motorcycle was flown to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The cause remains under investigation.
