The Indianola volleyball team will see its first taste of action this season today, traveling to Johnston High School. The Indians will have to replace several of their top hitters from last season, including Anna Marvelli who ranked 5th in class 5A with 376, and senior Alivia Bauer with 134. The Indians do have young talent with incoming juniors Lauren Blake with 245 kills, and Emma Kluver and Lizzie McGraw putting up solid numbers, joined by sophomore Jordyn Gripp, but will have to work to put up the bulk numbers that Marvelli did. The Indians went 27-18 on the season.
