While she may have sat out the Early Bird Meet on Monday, Knoxville Cross Country Runner Norah Pearson is looking forward to another banner season this fall. Along with setting her sights on another conference championship, and an appearance at the State Meet, she has the team in mind when it comes to the end of the season.
Pearson:
“Really looking forward to running and concentrating on running my own race. I’m really looking forward to the conference and State this year. I hope that we can place in the top three at conference this year, hopefully win it this year, and hopefully get the whole team to state–that would be amazing.”
Pearson is nursing a minor quad injury that she hopes will have her ready in the next couple of weeks. She finished fifth at the State Meet last fall earning her an all-state designation. Hear more from Norah Pearson on tonight’s Radio Sports Page at 6:00pm on 92.1 KRLS.
