High school football players across south central Iowa and the rest of the state are making final preparations today for the opening of Friday Night Lights, and KNIA/KRLS is ready to deliver award-winning wall-to-wall coverage again this fall.
Every Friday will start with the multiple-time Best in the State Award Winning Jeromy Dingeman Concrete Football Friday Night Radio Preview show, with special features, player profiles, and this year, the 2020 All-Decade Team, as well as insight into the six games airing weekly on various networks and streams.
Pregame coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. for Pella and Pella Christian on 92.1 KRLS and the KRLS2 Stream, Knoxville on 95.3 KNIA, Indianola on 94.3 KNIA, PCM on the KRLS3 stream, and new this year, Norwalk will join Pleasantville on the KNIA3 Stream game of the week. All games are available on the KNIA and KRLS mobile apps.
After the scoreboards hit zero and post game shows on each station, the PPI Radio Scoreboard show will begin, with all scores reported from Marion and Warren County high school football games, highlights from the six live broadcasts on the various streams and networks of KNIA/KRLS, and a check on district standings from around the state.
