The high school fall sports season is ramping up with football games beginning tonight. Fans are reminded to be mindful of their surroundings, particularly in unfamiliar areas. Knoxville Activities Director Ryan Paulsen says that fans should be flexible when going to different schools for events, as not every school has the same guidelines in place.

“Every place might just be a little bit different, so we need fans and spectators to just be flexible. It’s probably a good idea to carry a mask with you at all times, just because every place could be a little different. And depending on if you’re going to go places other than a high school sporting event, more and more businesses are requiring you to wear masks. Make sure you have one just to keep yourself prepared at all times. So again, flexibility is the name of the game.”

The Panther football team begins its season tonight at Fairfield. Tune into 95.3 KNIA for pregame coverage beginning at 6:30. A complete interview with Knoxville Activities Director Ryan Paulsen can be heard on today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
