The PCM volleyball team traveled to State Center Saturday to take part in the West Marshall tournament, playing six matches. The Mustangs started the day by taking on BCLUW, and fell to the Comets 2-0 in a best-of-three match. Set scores were 21-13 and 21-12. PCM was able to compete slightly better in their match against Centerville, falling by scores of 21-18 and 21-17.

PCM fell to Columbus Catholic 21-8 and 21-9, but bounced back with their first win of the day against another team called the Mustangs. PCM blew past Davis County 21-9 in the first set. It took bonus points to determine the set 2 winner, with PCM taking it 22-20. The day concluded with a sweep of host West Marshall, with scores of 21-16 and 21-16.

PCM moves to 4-5 on the season, and will welcome Des Moines North to Monroe on Tuesday for the home opener.
