At Weiler’s 20th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, the Weiler Foundation presented 20 $1,000 donations and 34 $500 donations to non-profit organizations in Marion County. In total, the Foundation awarded $37,000. Weiler Foundation President Megan Weiler Green stated that the foundation was honored to be able to give back to a community which has been incredibly supportive of the business over the last 20 years. The grants are intended to support the work of local charitable organizations.
The celebration was originally to be open to the public, but became a private event to limit the number of people present. It was held in a large open space to allow for social distancing, and a member of each organization that received a grant was present.
