The Pella Christian football team had little trouble finding the win column to kick off the district season in a 42-6 blowout of Central Decatur, as heard live on 92.1 KRLS Friday night.

It was a night of big plays for the Eagles, as P.C. scored touchdowns of 76, 77, 37, and 92 yards, including five from Quarterback Isaac Kacmarynski, who threw for three and ran for two.

Caden Van Dyke finished with 153 yards receiving and two touchdowns, Drew Geetings had a receiving touchdown, and Cody Boender had a rushing score and a defensive interception.

Pella Christian improves to 1-2 and 1-0 in Class 1A District 7 and host Interstate 35 next week.
