The Indianola YMCA continues to have safety procedures put in place for those attending, including a questionnaire and having temperatures taken at the entrance. Executive Director Heather Hulen tells KNIA News in addition to social distancing efforts and other safety precautions, members have been great to help the Y stay as safe as possible.
“We are happy to report that people feel safe and are complementing our staff on our safety protocols and how safe the building is. Each level there are wellness attendants and welcome center staff cleaning touch points throughout the day, and we also have a cleaning company that comes in during the afternoon hours for that due diligence, then a cleaning company comes in during the evening hours for more of a deeper clean.”
