The Pleasantville School District has announced modified plans for this year’s Homecoming festivities. The Homecoming dance, community pep rally and community tailgate have all been cancelled.

The parade will still be held Thursday at 6:00 p.m. but will have a slightly altered route. The parade will go through downtown and head west on Broadway Street to State Street. No candy or other items may be distributed from the parade entries, and all participants and attendees must follow the school’s rules on distancing and wearing masks. Coronation will be held during the football game on Friday night.
