An annual run/walk event in Pella will look different this year, but still aims to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

Pella in Pink, presented by Pella Regional Health Center Foundation, will be a virtual half marathon where participants run or walk a total of 13.1 miles between October 14-31 and log miles. Mileage logs turned in by November 6 will be entered in a drawing for prizes.

The goal of this event is to raise awareness of breast cancer and the importance of regular screenings. All proceeds benefit breast cancer awareness at Pella Regional.

Register online at PellaHealth.org/pink or fill out a paper form at Pella Regional’s Information Desk (Entrance 1). Registration is $30 for adults and $20 for youth under age 12. Participants who sign up by September 25 are guaranteed a long sleeve shirt. Shirts will be available for pick up on Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 4–5:30 pm at Pella Regional.
