The Pella City Council took the next steps in approving an industrial development led by the new Lely North America headquarters at their meeting Tuesday evening.

City Administrator Mike Nardini says a public hearing was set for October 20th to approve voluntary annexation of the development, and a legal agreement, and preliminary plat for the project aiming to bring a new headquarters for the robotic milking company southwest of Exit 45 on Highway 163 were both approved.
