Heading into the weekend, eight new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed by Marion County Public Health Friday. There are 72 active cases and 631 recoveries since the outbreak started this past spring. Four fatalities have been reported over the past two weeks. The average positive test rate for the past 14 days is 12.1%.
