The PCM volleyball team traveled to New Sharon Saturday for a tournament at North Mahaska High School. The Mustangs went 2-2 on the day.

PCM grinded out a 2-1 win in the opener against the hosting Warhawks. PCM took set 1 21-12, fell in set 2 21-18, and won the decisive third set 15-10.

The Mustangs took care of Sigourney in fairly quick fashion, scores of 21-13 and 21-17.

HLV was the next opponent for PCM. It was the Warriors winning both sets, scores of 21-15 and 21-16.

WACO was the final opponent of the day for the Mustangs. PCM fell by set scores of 25-16 and 25-19.

PCM is now 9-14 on the season. They’ll be back in action Tuesday at home against Martensdale-St. Mary’s.
