Indianola Mayor Kelly Shaw submitted his resignation to the Indianola City Council Monday evening, effective noon today. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News the City Attorney was notified of the mayor’s resignation, and the city will be working with legal counsel on what needs to take place to fill the position. In the interim, Mayor Pro Tem Greta Southall will be responsible for any prescribed duties of the office.
