The Indians continue their busy week with a trip to Southeast Polk today.
The Indianola volleyball squad swept Grinnell 3-0 Tuesday evening on the road, breaking a four match losing skid. The Indians dispatched the Tigers 25-21, 26-18, and 25-14 in straight sets. Head coach Kent Halstead tells KNIA Sports the Indians are a good team, they just have to get the right players in the right spots.
“Every week is an open competition, and every day in practice we tell our kids that. We don’t have starters on our team, we have volleyball players. I’m proud of those athletes that we have on the team, and hopefully we can do well.”
The Indians will next play Tuesday hosting Oskaloosa for senior night.
