A triple-overtime thriller comes your way this Saturday afternoon in our “KRLS Classic” Central College football broadcast. We’ll take you back to October 20th, 2007 when the Dutch travelled to Dubuque to take on the Spartans.
It was a game of swings, with Central falling behind 10-0, fighting back for a 24-17 lead, then needing a TD in the final minute to force overtime. Both teams kicked field goals in the first overtime and lost fumbles in the second overtime, before the Dutch won it 37-34 in the only triple-overtime game in school history.
