The Pella Christian volleyball team swept their home invitational Saturday, winning all four of their matches against a mix of opponents.

The Eagles defeated No. 13 in 4A Bondurant-Farrar 2-1 (21-10, 14-21, 15-12), No. 15 in 3A Knoxville 2-1 (15-21, 21-18, 17-15), and swept Grand View Christian (21-15, 21-11) and Albia (21-14, 21-10).

Sarah Gritters had 35 kills on the day, and Avey Amelse had 31 with eight service aces. Trinity Vos added 11 total blocks, including seven against the Lady Jays in the afternoon finale, and Kyah Chamberlin finished with 76 assists.

Pella Christian has won nine of their last 11 matches and will next host Senior Night at home Tuesday against Newton in Little Hawkeye Conference Action.
