At Monday’s Knoxville School Board meeting, the board approved the District Facilities Usage Recommendation. This means that outside groups will once again be able to use school facilities with restrictions. Business Manager Craig Mobley says that the school will be as flexible as possible, but everything is subject to change.
“We’re looking at that right now to start up November 1st. We actually will look at this at our next October board meeting, just to make sure that if we’re able to move that date up at all for some small groups to use facilities, we will try to accommodate it the best we can. But I think what everyone needs to know is a lot of the dates included in that recommendation are tentative and subject to change based on anything that’s happening with the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The approved recommendation with the tier levels and their respective dates can be found here. Hear more from Craig Mobley on today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
