The NCMP Aquagirls competed against a tough Ankeny team Thursday night. Pella Junior Hannah Nedder made the automatic qualifying state swimming cut off in the 100 fly (59.67 seconds), winning that race. NCMP Sophomore Lillie Ray took 2nd in both the 200 and 100 freestyle races. Maylei Ruggles was on the 3rd place 200 medley relay, placed 3rd in the 100 yard backstroke and 4th in the 50 yard freestyle relay. Pella’s Natalie Boll was on a 3rd place relay in the 400 yard freestyle. Pella swims at the Wellmark YMCA today against Waukee and SE Polk.
