The Central women’s tennis team traveled northeast for two American Rivers Conference matches over the weekend.
The Dutch traveled to Waverly Saturday to take on the undefeated Knights. Despite a strong performance, Central could not slip by in a 5-4 loss. The Dutch won three of the six singles flights, but went 1-2 in doubles. Central picked up singles wins by Karleigh Schilling, Alyssa Lewton and Maddie Hartley in the #1, #3 and #4 flights. The #1 doubles team of Schilling and Lewton picked up the fourth win of the match for the Dutch.
