The Indianola boys and girls cross country teams competed at the Steve Johnson Invitational at Wartburg College Saturday, with the girls placing 6th and the boys 14th in a crowded field. Curtis Johnson and Logan Hoger led the way for the boys finishing in 33rd and 34th place respectively, with Jack Runyan in 89th, Hunter Seifrig in 91st, and Joseph DeWall placing 93rd rounding out the scoring. Emily Naughton led the way for the Indians girls with a 9th place finish, while Gracie Foster placed 14th, Joey Werling in 26th, Remy Sivertsen in 59th, and Katie O’neil placed 71st to finish the top five. Both squads will run Monday at Norwalk.
