The final meet of the regular season for the Pella Cross Country team will take the Dutch boys and girls east to Hillcrest Academy Monday.

The No. 2 Pella boys and team to watch Lady Dutch will face a similar field of ranked teams they saw this past week in Williamsburg, including the No. 5 in 3A Solon boys and girls teams, the No. 1 and No. 5 in 2A Danville-New London and Mid Prairie boys, and the No. 2 and No. 13 in 2A Golden Hawks and Danville-New London girls teams.

Head Coach Doug Cutler says the race they added to the schedule last fall due to the messy weather may become a mainstay and a great final tune-up before the postseason begins at the annual Little Hawkeye Conference meet.

Varsity races begin around 5:30 p.m. in rural Kalona.
