The PCM volleyball team was unable to dig out of an early deficit at West Marshall Tuesday evening, falling 3-1. A close first set went to the Trojans 25-18. PCM was unable to sustain momentum in set 2, falling 25-12. The Mustangs surged back in set 3 to get within a set with a 25-16 win, but West Marshall closed the match in quick fashion with a 25-14 win in set 4.

Celeste Wagaman led the way with nine kills. She and Claire Wilson each had four aces, and Wilson added 10 digs. PCM falls to 11-16 overall and 2-3 in Heart of Iowa Conference play. They’ll be back in action Saturday at a tournament in Pleasantville.
