The Trojans have had a perfect start to a week where they play a total of seven games, as they have won the first three without even dropping a set. They defeated Ogden on the road Tuesday 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-22). This match was originally planned for two weeks ago, but got postponed due to COVID related reasons and contact tracing for the Bulldogs.
Head Coach Joel Allman, still on paternity leave but watching via livestream, gave praise to his team as a whole for their blocking. He also felt as though Amber McKinney, Cheyene Pagel, and Breanna Benge excelled in the serving game.
After sweeping a triangular on Monday, they are undefeated this week and improve to 9-6 on the year.
It’ll be another short turnaround for Pleasantville as they travel to Woodward-Granger on Thursday for a single match followed by a quad tourney at home on Saturday.
